Description
The DTS.2003 Turnstile was build as part of a complete access control system, which consists of a server system, access control computer (cluster controller) and a basically unlimited number of turnstiles using different reading technologies. The turnstile consists of the mechanical bottom (gear box) and different terminal controllers.
· 200 cm: Turnstile (100 cm), Terminal (100 cm)
· 140 cm: Turnstile (100 cm), Terminal (40 cm)
· 100 cm: Batching Turnstile without Terminal
The system offers a variety of control features.
The access control system is mainly controlled by the central computer. The card readers inside the terminals transmit the card data to the cluster controller. After a successful validation of the data, the host either grants or denies the access. In case of a system fault of the host computers, the terminal performs a fallback to offline mode. The validation of the card data is then performed inside the terminal. All transaction data is stored inside the terminal controller and transmitted to the host automatically, when the system goes online again.
The simultaneous operation of different reader technologies such as Barcode, Magstripe, contact smart cards or proximity cards with popular transponders is available. Optional keyboards or single keys can be connected to the system as well as interfaces to external door systems such as sliding doors. The system is very flexible in terms of on site adoptions and connection to external system by means of a terminal internal bus system.
Entry of access control data (records) is done directly on the computers or via file interface from subsystems. The system is build modular and easy to install. The data connection is done via a sinle twisted pair cable. Configuration of terminals can be done from the host via parameter anf firmware upload from the host computer.
