BadgeMaker 5500 software offers you the convenience of designing, customizing and personalizing cards on demand, making use of existing databases, like Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access and so on. By means of Open DataBase Connectivity (ODBC), BadgeMaker 5500 uses available data collected in databases without having an impact on its content. To preserve security and user-friendliness, BadgeMaker 5500 software is divided in three modules. In the DataBase Layout Creator module (DBLC) the database structure is defined and linked to the available database. Multiple full color card layouts can be designed in the BadgeCreator module (BC), adding any combination of artwork, images, both static and dynamic text fields, etc. In the BadgeMaker module (BM), you add personal data and store related images, digital photographs, signatures and even biometric information and subsequently print the card.
Numerous advanced features are included in BadgeMaker 5500: e.g. dynamic logo, automatic layout, barcode, magstripe, contactless cards like Mifare, Legic, Nedap and chip encoding. An additional BM5500 feature is the opportunity to customize the user interface through OLE. It enables you to create personal screens and userinterface that only displays the required information fields and functions. BM5500 can scan multiple forms where passphotos, signatures etc, automaticly can be stored into the central databases. This is handy when large amount of pictures have to be scanned. The scanning is based on barcode which link the pictures to the database.
