 The new XID 5xxie series uses the unique Re-Transfer technology.
Both card sides can be printed edge to edge in never seen before quality.
For the first time, individual cards can be produced in small quantities with an almost photographic quality, that is even superior to offset printed cards.
All types of card blanks made out of various materials and even with surfaces that usually create problems with standard printers, can be printed in continuous high quality, thanks to the Re-Transfer technology.
The unique overprint results in extreme longevity and color stability. Even contactless cards, magstripe cards and contact smart cards are processed with equally high precision.
Optional additional modules for lamination and chip encoding allow the production of all type of card blanks and the use of multiple security features, as for example contactless proximity applications. The printing and the encoding is done in one process in this case.
Up to 1.000 cards are printed with one set of ribbons, in a speed unique to this quality level.
The rugged construction of the printer with ribbon cartridges that can be exchanged seperately, guarantees reliable and cost effective production, combined with ease of use.
