Electronic Passports according to ICAO Standard |

The requirements for ID documents are increasing: More and more countries choose chip based passports that contain biometric data. Germany introduced the electronic passport or E-Passport in November 2005, the United States require the introduction of travel documents with biometric data from visa waiver countries.
CCD offers their customers sophisticated solutions for issuing electronic passports according to the recommendations of the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization). The use of various security features assures the highest level of anti forgery protection.
In general, the contactless chip which contains the relevant personal and biometric data such as fingerprints, can either be integrated into the book or into the holder page of the pass document. Hence, the data page can be supplied by us with or without integrated chip. In addition, the poly carbonate surface can be securely personalized.
From the professional printing to the encoding of the chip: Depending on the individual requirements of the customer, CCD supplies the personalised data page of the passport with all security features, or – in co-operation with experienced partners – the complete ID document with integrated holder page.
