14.11.2006 - UN project in Pakistan - CCD delivers the technology
CCD has delivered card printers and related accessories for approximately 2 million cards for a project of the United Nations Human Rights Commission (UNHCR). The identity cards are used for the registration of Afghan refugees who want to return to their homeland.
A total of 63 Nisca card printers and laminating machines were delivered and installed by our partner NADRA. These professional printer systems are well known for their competitive price and quality, and offer excellent printing quality, user-friendly controls as well as high level manufacturing standards.
At present, about three million Afghan refugees live and work in Pakistan. Through their registration, the UNHCR can better control and assist the travel related activities of the refugees through the organizations special support program
