XXL-cards from CCD – make it big |

 25.02.2009 - Be it a rock concert or a car race: Where thousands of visitors are expected, XXL-cards offer efficient advantages. They can be produced in a matter of seconds – and are easy to make out in access control situations. No wonder that large scale card solutions from CCD are extremely popular.
In the USA, cards used for the Football Superbowl are done with XXL Pro printers from CCD, and the Baseball League likes it extra large as well. In Germany, the Düsseldorf ice hockey team DEG Metrostars is planning to switch to the large format. Also more and more large arenas use XXL cards for music concerts.
As an entry level alternative, more and more Xtended printers are being asked for: Xtended cards have the same width as regular ISO cards - but can be up to 140 mms long. Just like with the XXL Pro, the Xtended printer can apply a forgery resistant logo onto the card with its integrated Holokote technology.
