CTX 1 |

The mobile card reader CTX 1 can process contact and contactless
cards and magnetic stripes and thus becomes a universal card terminal
for a large number of applications.
With its innovative technology, the CTX 1 can be used for various
solutions - for example for mobile access control functions.
Complex applications such as authentication or MAC calculation for
contact processor chip cards can be done easily and quickly with the
CTX 1 and its two slots for security modules (SAM).
The reader is powered by a Lithium Ion battery, which is recharged when
the device rests on the docking station. A second battery is a back-up
for the internal clock and the stored data during the exchange of the
main battery.
The unit has an integrated modem for the transfer of transaction files
and a serial interface for communication with a PC.
